After careful thought, I have finally decided on a direction for my Blog. Rather than just set up a typical 'here's my boring daily activities', or a 'down your throat mega-page sales pitch', I thought I would make this site a combination of a current events/news site, with some of my daily activities thrown in also. I am currently very new (obviously) to blogging, and to using WordPress, the software that I'm using for my blogging. At the moment I'm using a fresh install of WordPress with an upgrade coming very soon, as a newer version has been out for sometime and it's a 'HIGHLY RECOMMENDED', like CRITICAL upgrade. I've been up for about 21 hours or so now, so much of anything more will have to wait. I've gotta get some sleep real soon. Oh, I'll also be posting about all the modifications, via plugins, and any others, that I make to the WordPress installation. There are probably hundreds of plugins out there to do just about anything reasonable that you could probably want to do. Maybe my trials/errors and probably much cursing, might help somebody else avoid the headaches I go through trying to get this site to where I want it to be. Obviously I've got a VERY LONG way to go.

Well, I guess I have arrived. I thought Steve Martin was right in the movie 'The Jerk' when he thought he had made it...he had become 'somebody' because he was listed in the phone book. Well, of course he was wrong. It's not when you get you're first email address either. Actually that's when I first thought I was 'somebody'. I was online with my own email address. Well, of course, I was wrong, everyone knew it was when you get your first domain. I finally got my first domain near the end of 2007. Surely I had truly 'made it' then....sorry. Ah, I see now, it's when you get to the true state of art...your (my) very own blog. Welp, here I am, listed in the phone book, I have my very own email address...more like (6) or so, I've finally got my own domain, actually several of those also, but I do business at OmniProductSales.com presently. Now the Holy Grail of all things self-identifying, drum roll please....I have a BLOG!! Only (1) for now though, and I'm not even sure what I'll do with this one. I just 'knew' I wasn't truly 'there', I hadn't 'arrived' until I had one. One hundred, seventy-eight million, four-hundred twenty-six thousand, nine hundred and fourteen, well fifteen now, must know something!! They can't all be wrong, surely there must be a dozen or so VERY avid readers out there that just couldn't get enough to read, therefore causing a very high demand of mostly pointless ramblings by me and the rest of the modern 'bloggers'. We're here to supply the demand, and here is my part of the supply. God, I bet I'm getting this in just before the blog readers were running low on blogs!! I just got my blog up and going maybe (45) minutes ago and this is my first post. Unfortunately, it's now 4:46am and I just feel kinda blogless. I hope all you content-starved blog subscribers can hold off another day or two, whenever I decide to 'blog' again. I do realize I'm much needed and fully intend to do my part to supply the online readers with my share of keystrokes. Until we meet again in the 'virtual world', you know, the fake one that we can make into anything we want it to be, even a place where it's fun, even necessary to read a total strangers pointless blogs...I bid you a fond farewell.
