After careful thought, I have finally decided on a direction for my Blog. Rather than just set up a typical ‘here’s my boring daily activities’, or a ‘down your throat mega-page sales pitch’, I thought I would make this site a combination of a current events/news site, with some of my daily activities thrown in also. I am currently very new (obviously) to blogging, and to using WordPress, the software that I’m using for my blogging. At the moment I’m using a fresh install of WordPress with an upgrade coming very soon, as a newer version has been out for sometime and it’s a ‘HIGHLY RECOMMENDED’, like CRITICAL upgrade. I’ve been up for about 21 hours or so now, so much of anything more will have to wait. I’ve gotta get some sleep real soon. Oh, I’ll also be posting about all the modifications, via plugins, and any others, that I make to the WordPress installation. There are probably hundreds of plugins out there to do just about anything reasonable that you could probably want to do. Maybe my trials/errors and probably much cursing, might help somebody else avoid the headaches I go through trying to get this site to where I want it to be. Obviously I’ve got a VERY LONG way to go.
