An Affiliate Marketer from the Ground Up

Well, just after I thought I had found a really good affiliate program in the Ebay Partner Network, I'm starting to think maybe I spoke too soon. I won't say anything bad about the program at this point, as I'm going to have to wait and see what the outcome is on my account being 'expired' (canceled). All this after I've been praising the ePN too. Hopefully I can be back on my soap box again soon.

What I will say is this, I had been registered with the ePN since April 1, 2008 and had not experienced any problems up until Friday August 8, 2008. When I attempted to login to my account to check my statistics, I was greeted with a 'that email address or password is incorrect', or something similar. he bottom line was...I had been dumped from the program.

I had not received any warning, explanation, or even notice that I had bee 'expired'. I have sent an email to the 'Network Team', but as of yet have not received a reply. This is Sunday and I was booted on Friday (late), so in all fairness it will probably be until tomorrow before I get a reply (other than the automated one).

Well, I've just been called back to work after a layoff of over (4) months. I haven't posted in a couple of days due to the sudden lack of free time. I do plan on keeping the blog updated as often as possible though.

Ok, just when I was really having fun at this blogging stuff, and actually even starting to get a few hits, I get cut down. I received my first email from a visitor. I thought "GREAT, SOMEONE IS ACTUALLY READING MY BLOG!!'. Well, I won't tell you exactly what it said, but it was something to the effect, 'Your blog sucks, it don't tell me how to make no money'. Ah-hem...well, I'll leave that part alone.

I just thought this topic deserved a mention here as a precaution more than entertainment. Although it is kind of funny, because if it pans out the way I think it will, you'll see the demise of an individual, and his company, that is pretty well hated by many, finally go away.
