Commission Blueprint – An Excellent Pay Per Click Marketing Course

If you’re just getting starting in Internet Marketing and are thinking about trying pay per click (PPC), I would suggest reconsidering. I’m only partly joking. If you have made up your mind to get started in PPC though, I would recommend reading all of the free information that you can first. Then I would definitely recommend Commission Blueprint for a single, very thorough, easy to understand, inexpensive training aid. I’ve bought several products on pay per click, and Commission Blueprint is the best that I’ve seen without a doubt.

There may be better courses/products/membership sites out there, but I can almost guarantee that you’ll be paying more for them, probably much more, and most likely getting less. I joined a membership site once and was totally dissatisfied. Although I did learn some things, after a few weeks of membership, I really felt there was really nothing worth paying for. Combine this with the fact that the owners tried to cram one upsell after another down my throat, and I really felt like it was a bad experience.

I should point out that I’m not an expert on PPC, nor am I even a successful PPC marketer. I have however, had enough experience to know that, unless you’ve really done your homework there’s a good chance you will lose some money. Actually, you’ll probably lose some money regardless, at least at first. Even after you’ve had some success there will still be campaigns that aren’t profitable, that’s just part of the game.

When I first tried my hand at PPC, I did everything wrong. After the many products that I’ve purchased, along with all the free information that I’ve found, I feel a lot more comfortable with PPC now. The primary reason I’m not running any campaigns now is because I’ve been laid off from my job. Therefore I’m sticking with either free or very inexpensive methods of generating some online revenue.

I’m not making enough online yet to be able to quit my day job, but things are getting better almost daily. I know this will be the year that I’m able to earn my living full time from home. I also know that PPC will be a major part of my strategy.

So, for a very moderately priced wealth of information on PPC, have a look at Commission Blueprint. The information provided covers nearly everything that you’ll need to know to get a good, solid foundation in pay per click marketing. There will be a few things that you’ll also want to seek more information on also.

Even though there is a lot of information on landing pages included, I would try to get a little more in-depth information also. Website building is a skill that will serve you well, not just in PPC, but especially in any SEO sites that you may have, obviously.

Of course the Commission Blueprint product is backed up by a rock solid money back guarantee, so there’s really no risk involved, but the guarantee that I can provide is that I guarantee that you won’t be seeking a refund. I still go through the many included videos regularly just to keep the information fresh in my mind.

As soon as my finances get back to normal from my layoff, I’ll be setting up some campaigns. I feel very confident with what I’ve learned from Commission Blueprint, and the great people in the forum.

PPC (Pay Per Click) Marketing on the Internet

PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing is one of the most popular methods of advertising on the Internet.  It  is sometimes referred to as pay for position, cost per click or pay for performance. Regardless of the term used, PPC marketing is the online advertiser’s medium of choice for promoting products and services to online consumers. Advertisers using PPC marketing only need to pay for the actual clicks on the links in their ads.

When an online consumer searches for a specific product or service on the Internet, corresponding PPC marketing ads are triggered to be shown (impressions), and they are displayed alongside the organic results generated by the search engine. This forms a highly targeted consumer group that is more likely to purchase a specific product or service. In addition, websites get to limit their advertisement costs with the use of PPC marketing. PPC marketing is truly a winning combination for the consumers, advertisers and merchants. Never before has it been so easy to get a product or service shown to so many targeted consumers so quickly, and so cost effectively. If the advertiser has done his job of producing quality ads, and quality sales information for the consumer to click through to, the profits can be quite substantial, and sometimes realized very quickly.

Possible drawbacks of PPC marketing

Despite the obvious advantages of PPC marketing, there are possible drawbacks that can cancel out its benefits. One of the most common problems associated with PPC marketing is the inexperience of many people attempting to use this potentially profitable advertising method. Simply submitting ads to a search engine such as Google, does not ensure that the advertiser will have a successful campaign.

PPC marketing requires a calculated and systematic approach to setting up ads. PPC marketing involves the use of keywords and bids on those keywords in hopes of getting a page one placement on a search engine’s results pages. Getting high search engine placement helps boost traffic to a website that can easily translate it into profit.

Without the necessary experience and knowledge to put together a successful campaign, it may turn into an expensive proposition that can lose a large sum of money very quickly. A PPC marketing campaign can get your ads in front of many people, but it also must convert these consumers into paying customers. When there is competition for the same keywords, it’s extremely important to get the traffic that’s needed for sales, but to make sure that the costs required for the clicks doesn’t get too high.

Bidding on keywords can be quite costly, as the growing number of websites on the Internet struggle against each other to bid on the most profitable keywords for their PPC marketing ads. Obviously, small business websites are at a disadvantage here since big business sites are able to pay more for popular keywords related to their business. This is because most small businesses only set aside a small portion of their capital for advertisement, putting them at a potential disadvantage. It becomes even more important to have an optimized campaign.

Running an effective PPC marketing campaign

There are a number of things that an advertiser should consider when running an effective PPC marketing campaign. It is important to develop a marketing plan in order to get the most return on investment from PPC marketing. Selecting the most appropriate keywords that relate to the site’s business is essential in PPC marketing.

However, simply choosing the most popular keywords does not necessarily translate into profit. Selecting more specific keywords that will put a site within the first ten results of a search also gets greater awareness from online consumers. Most advertisers don’t like to be in the number one spot, but seem to favor the number three to four spots. Any spot that isn’t on the first page of the SERPS (search engine results pages) are nearly useless.

It is also important that the advertiser constantly monitor the performance of their campaign. This will be necessary so that changes can be made quickly if the campaign should start to lose money. Any ad that has not proven effective can be immediately discontinued. Altering PPC marketing ads is a continuous process that the advertiser should do in order to get the best (ROI) return on investment of their advertising budget. Campaigns often need to have keywords added or deleted, or the corresponding bids changed.

If one advertiser has a poorly thought out campaign, and is competing against another campaign that has been setup properly, there can be hugh differences in the cost per click on the advertisers ads. It’s important to have a fully optimized campaign from start to finish.

PPC Training w/ PPC Classroom

If you’ve just started in PPC Marketing, or you’d like to get started, there’s a new training site online. I’ve seen a few others, but the one that came highly recommended was out of my price range.

Well, this one is priced very reasonably at $29.97/month. I really can’t imagine finding anything even remotely worth your time for less money. The PPC Classroom is headed by Anik Singal of ‘Affiliate Classroom’ fame, and also Amit Mehta, PPC guru extrodonaire.

I’ve signed up, and have been through the 9 PPC modules once. I do, however, want to go through everything again as I get time. There’s quite a bit to commit to memory. It’s good to know that all the information is available with a couple of clicks of the mouse.

One great thing about PPC Classroom is that it will always have new, fresh information, and not just a stagnant, static course. I thought I knew quite a bit about PPC Marketing, even though my first campaigns haven’t been successful, but I learned so much that I never knew existed.

Amit’s method for setting up an Adwords campaigns is great. Using Microsoft Excel and a macro that is downloadable from the site, he shows you how to get a massively sized campaign up and running in the shortest time possible. After looking at his way of doing things, I would imagine what can be done using his procedures, versus manually doing it, would literally save you weeks on a large campaign.

There’s also some cool, free downloads on the site. Just one of the bouses was worth the first month’s membership fee, for me anyway. It’s a huge file of awesome graphics that you can use on your sites. There’s checkmarks, arrows, contact us (email), guarantee seals, buy now and many more graphics, in various colors.

It work take a huge amount of time to create these, even if you had an original and just created all the different colors of each one. The zip file, if I remember correctly, was about 70megs., so that gives you an idea of how much is there.

There’s also an addon that you can get, if you so desire. It’s called the ‘Niche Detective Club’. The following is directly from the PPC Classroom site.

  • 3-5 video tours of each niche – Amit holds your hand as he investigates each niche, finds products, and researches the marketplace.
  • 2 ready-to-use keyword lists for each niche – You’ll get a starter list with selected high-volume keywords, plus a comprehensive list that contains a massive amount of keywords to bid on, expand, and test.
  • Niche analysis report on each niche – A convenient summary of our niche findings, showing you how we did the research, along with recommendations for how you can attack this niche immediately.
  • The ‘Niche Detective Club’ is priced at $19.97 per month, but it was free for a month when I signed up so I opted to check it out.

I’m not sure exectly how useful it will be as I’ve yet to run a campaign using the information provided. I will say that everything is as promised, but even with 3 niches per month, if you get a large number of people picking the same campaign, with most of the same keywords, it could be even much more competitive than PPC normally is anyway. I would say it’s worth checking out, for sure if it’s still free when they’re accepting new members. You’ll just have to judge for yourself if it’s something that will help you to produce income.

In closing, I’d just like to say…if you’re new to PPC Marketing, I don’t see how you can do better for training than PPC Classroom. There is a monthly fee, but of course you can cancel at any time you wish. The way I look at it is if you’re able to get a very successful campaign going using the information in the training, the realized profit could pay for many monthly membership fees, and much more.
