Parked Those Unused Domains

I thought I’d mention something on domain parking. If you’re like me you’ve got at least several unused domains sitting there doing nothing except costing you a little bit of money. For some reason I went on a domain registering spree. I guess I thought I’d have one domain that someone really wanted…eventually. I kinda doubt it though, I don’t know what I was thinking when I registered some of them.

So, you do have some, right ? Head over to namedrive.com to park them. Honestly I hadn’t done a lot of research on domain parking, but from what I have seen namedrive.com probably has the best setup, at least

as good as any I’ve seen. Their user interface is well laid out and easy to navigate. It’s just a matter of changing the name servers and inputting the URLs.

The user has the ability to create portals or one click ppc pages. You can also set keywords, change the template and colors, and the category and subcategory on each domain landing page.

You can also set whether or not you want the domain to be listed for sale. There’s a form box for listing a price, or you can input text. I just set all of mine as ‘Make Offer’.

NameDrive also has an affiliate program that’s as fast and easy to get going as is the domain parking. Input the usual info. and you’re all set. To check for earnings on the ads being displayed on your domains just login and click ‘My Account’.

NameDrive.com is a good, easy to use site to park your domains, maybe make a few bucks on ads, and who knows, maybe someone else will think that domain you registered with hopes of making a lot of money is worth thousands…maybe not. :)
