Well, I keep reading, keep looking at every thing I can find on the Net about Affiliate Marketing…PPC mainly. If you haven’t found WickedFire.com yet btw, you need to check it out, if you’re trying to get into Affiliate Marketing. I mentioned it before here, but I doubt many people are going to go through all the posts if they happen to land here, by some chance.
There’s tons of sites out there related to AM, I have a few listed on here, in the blogroll. I hope to get around to actually, hopefully getting this blog to be something truly useful for the aspiring guy/girl just starting out. I’d really like to have a little success first though. I think maybe that would give me some creditability.
As I mentioned in, I think my last post, take most of what you read around the Internet on AM with a grain of salt. I have found that at least some (many ?) of the guys you see blogging about being these ‘Super Affiliates’, are sometimes probably nothing more than me, and possibly you. Just someone that happens to have a few domains, a little computer knowledge, and a desire to quit their day job. Please don’t assume all the people out there are like that, there are many, many Websites being ran by very competent, successful Affiliate Marketers. I just know when I see some of the same, identical posts and/or ideas on multiple sites, that somebody’s not on the up and up…or at least, not original.
Well, I’ve been laid off from my job for a little over (3) months as of this past Friday, March 14, 2008. We’re technically called back now, but they didn’t have anything for me to do today, and with rain the next two days, I doubt I’ll work then either. I REALLY need to get this Affiliate Marketing thing going. I doubt I’ll ever get to the point the ShoeMoney’s and John Chow’s are, but if I could even make a living out of, I’d be content. If so, you’ll be here to watch it, if not, well, you’ll be here to see that too, if you choose to be. Unfortunately, I don’t even have the money to put into it now, so I guess it’ll be kinda hard to do anything now.
