I felt obligated to write a quick post regarding the ‘expiration’ of my ePN affiliate account recently. After a bit of uncertainty, my account was just reinstated. I had posted here that I my account had been canceled for no wrong doing on my part, and I was really concerned about what the final outcome would be. I didn’t want to believe that ebay would do anything other than the right thing.
Although it took about (6) days, I did just receive notice that they (the ePN Customer Support Team) and decided to reinstate my account, and I am again in good standing. I was able to immediately log back into my account, which I did, and everything was order, including the funds due me. It There wasn’t a lot of money involved, but it was money that I had earned, and I’m glad to see that I’ve lost nothing other than several days of time.
I know there where some others that that their accounts expired when I did, and I hope that if there were others in the same situation as myself, as far as abiding by the terms and conditions, will also have their accounts reinstated. I’ve got a all the respect in the world for the ePN team to stand up and due the right thing. Anyone can make a mistake, but it’s how you handle thing afterwards that decides what type of person (or company) you choose to be.
Hopefully I can now continue on what was looking to be a productive business venture with one of the leaders in internet business. It does look as though it will indeed be an eBay ‘Partner’ Network for me once again.

I really don’t have much of anything to offer in the way of information regarding my Ebay Partner Network (affiliate) account being canceled. I’m still just almost dumfounded over the whole thing, as many others are also (on their account, not mine
).
What is still the unbelievable aspect of the situation, is the fact that I’ve still yet to get a reply to my support request from (8-8-08)!! That’s ridiculous. The money I’ve lost (I’m sure) isn’t even a factor, I’ve actually not even thought about it for a couple of days, until now. I just can’t believe that a company the size of eBay, and as well known as they are, would allow themselves to get into this position.

Well, just after I thought I had found a really good affiliate program in the Ebay Partner Network, I’m starting to think maybe I spoke too soon. I won’t say anything bad about the program at this point, as I’m going to have to wait and see what the outcome is on my account being ‘expired’ (canceled). All this after I’ve been praising the ePN too. Hopefully I can be back on my soap box again soon.

What I will say is this, I had been registered with the ePN since April 1, 2008 and had not experienced any problems up until Friday August 8, 2008. When I attempted to login to my account to check my statistics, I was greeted with a ‘that email address or password is incorrect’, or something similar. he bottom line was…I had been dumped from the program.
I had not received any warning, explanation, or even notice that I had bee ‘expired’. I have sent an email to the ‘Network Team’, but as of yet have not received a reply. This is Sunday and I was booted on Friday (late), so in all fairness it will probably be until tomorrow before I get a reply (other than the automated one).
