If you're doing PPC advertising, this is probably the best news that you've had to date. KeywordSpy.com has a product that is second to none in the field of Pay Per Click marketing.

Keywordspy

There's quite a few reputable keyword research tools available. There's even some free ones that are pretty good, but Keyword Spy goes one step beyond helping you to come up with some great keywords. It's lets you see what the competition is using for keywords also.

Personally, I 'almost' feel like there could be an element of being slightly shady, but then I thought...this is done every single day in the business world. When an advertiser sees what's working for another company, you can bet that they're going to use the same tactics. It's just always been a bit different in the PPC world because your competitors keywords weren't normally accessible.

I won't go into detail about the different options at KeywordSpy.com, except to say that they have a package for just tracking your competitions keyword, and also a 'Professional' package that includes research and tracking.

Oh, they also have a free trial. It's been my experience that when a company believes in it's product enough to offer a free trial, they usually can do what they are offering...and this is awesome. I'm on my way to sign up now.

After not having the best of results with my PPC endeavors, I can see that this is the product that's going to turn things around for me.

I remember my first few PPC campaigns. They were, for the most part complete failures. I say 'for the most part' because if you're learning then there's something good happening...and did I learn!!

When I opened my Adwords, Adcenter and Yahoo accounts, I found some online vouchers from all three and got some 'free' money to start with. I did have to put up some of my own money of course, but what I was 'learning' with, for the most part, was not out of my pocket. The downside to this was I didn't really study

As much as I hear things sometimes, I still seem to have to do things my own way. I guess that's why I'm in the poor financial situation I am. I did some reading before starting my PPC endeavors, but I didn't take everything as seriously as I should have. I kept reading...'research your keywords, track your keywords, know how do bid your keywords, get good records of what the results of each campaign are, good and bad'.

Here I sit with only $56 dollars in revenue, from over $300 dollars spent in advertising. How much did I use the things that I read, from the experienced guys that have been doing this ? NONE!! That's not a good answer. I guess maybe I did store a little bit of what I read, as I did watch things a little closer this last campaign. It 'only' cost me $26.48 to make $26.00. Now I'm not a business major, but I think that maybe I'm still a little upside down on that deal.

The point of this postis, go seek out the creditable informatiom, study it, remember it, write it down if you need to. The most important thing is, USE IT!! If you're still reading this, then you're probably in the same boat as me, a complete beginner. Hopefully however, you've ran across this before you've lost as much as I have. I've paused my campaigns, and they're going to stay that way until I regroup and start things going in a different direction, up.

I'll post again here when I have more results, good or bad. Hopefully it'll be good news, because I'm starting to get a little down on this Affiliate Marketing thing.

Until Next Time, Thanks for Reading,

Jeff

Well, I've started another PPC Campaign on Yahoo. It's doing pretty well, except where it counts...conversions. If you're not getting the money coming in, then it doesn't really matter how many clicks you get. Don't get me wrong, I'm generating a very
