Buying All the Get Rich Quick Products

This is very similar to my previous post, but after seeing what 2 individuals have been through, I thought I’d post on it again. I hate to see people throw money away. Especially when they believe they’re going to make a lot of money from it. So, STOP, DON’T DO IT!

I just signed up at Wealthy Affiliate a few weeks ago, and it’s a very good forum. I’ve got a lot of good ideas and information there. This isn’t about WA specifically though.

It’s about buying, or actually not buying every new get-rich-quick product that is released.

There were 2 different individuals on WA in the last few days that posted about how they had made no money online. Actually one guy had made a couple thousand dollars, but he had spent over $11,000 doing it!!

The other guy had made nothing, he said.

The problem is, both had followed the same problematic method…buy every get-rich-quick product that comes out, or at least many of them.

You have to remember, IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS!! It’s not, it ‘probably is’IT IS.

There’s tons of information out there to get started with. Don’t try PPC advertising right away. It takes some experience (and money) to start making money using PPC.

I recommended Pot Pie Girl’s ebook (course) here before, and although there’s not any get-rich-quick scheme included, since they don’t exist, it’s common sense information to lay the foundation to start generating some traffic and making some money.owmplanbox1

It’s basically using article marketing to generate traffic to your money site(s). Pretty much ‘Bum Marketing.’ That term is from Travis Sago’s excellent ‘Bum Marketing Method.’ Head over to Bum Marketing Method to check it out.

Jennifer’s course does go into it more specifically, as far as the sites (Squidoo, EzineArticles, etc.) to use, and an actual step-by-step instructional process to follow day-by-day. It guides you through setting up a campaign in one week. Hence the name, One Week Marketing Plan.

So, if you’re going to spend any money, buy something that won’t promise to make you a fortune overnight. Buy something that provides good, solid, very workable, traffic, and eventually money producing information.

Stay away from anything that promises to make you a lot of money in a very short time. Those guys are just taking advantage of everyone’s fantasy of getting a lot of money quickly, and with almost no work.

Think lottery…now look at the odds.

Don’t Fall for the 5,000 an Hour on Auto-Pilot Spam

dollarsign1thumbnailI’m sure I could go without making this post for most people, but unfortunately there’s always some people that fall for these scams even if they are too good to be true. It’s not hard to make money online, but it’s not easy to get rich quickly.

I just received an email about a ClickBank product that has made a lot of people a lot of money. It’s not because it’s an instant way to get rich though. Don’t misunderstand however, ClickBank offers some fantastic products, I’ve bought several myself. The problem is the way some people market the offerings. They buy an email list from some of the less than decent marketers out there, send out bulk mailings on anything and everything, and get whatever sells they can. I would guess most don’t know anymore about the products that they’re pushing than the unsuspecting spam victims do.

The email that initiated this post was for Forex, which I honestly don’t know much about, but the subject was something to the effect…’Make $1,000,000 in 12 months.’ It was from someone that I had never heard of too. Obviously I hadn’t given him my email, so….there was someone that offered something (free) that I thought looked interesting enough to give up my email for. We all know what that guy does with his list, he sells it.

If you’re new to Internet Marketing there are lots of great products and services around. Personally, what I’ve learned about it, I could pretty much have learned without spending a dime, for the most part. I have promoted quite a few products on this blog, but they’re products that I’vevertbanner01 actually bought or know of!!

If you’re wanting to make some money online, I would take a look at Pot Pie Girl‘s course. It is a ClickBank product and it has lots of great  information. The good thing about her methods is everything is free. She uses Squidoo and EzineArticles a lot, as well as some other sites and methods thrown in.

I just posted about it a few days ago(yes I bought it too). It’s called One Week Marketing Plan, and it takes you through what you need to do, step by step, day by day. She’s got a great ‘no quibble’ guarantee, I think she calls it. So if it doesn’t work for you, you get your money back. I don’t think you could ask for anything better than that.

So just remember, if it sounds too good to be true…it IS!! Not ‘probably is’, it ‘is’ too good to be true. Do you really think if someone had a method that was making them $5,000 per day on ‘auto-pilot,’ they’d be wanting to share it with the world ?

If you’re wanting some free methods to generate traffic, go to BumMarketingCourse.com also. This is something that really offers some very good information that is very similar to what Jennifer (Pot Pie Girl) offers.

Jennifer is a member at Wealthy Affiliate, which is an excellent site if you’re just getting started in Affiliate Marketing. Actually, it’s a good site even if you’re a seasoned veteran, just because there’s a lot of people there doing the same thing and sharing a lot of information. I just became a member a couple of weeks ago and I highly recommend it.

So just use your common sense and read….a lot!! You can sign up for many of the top Affiliate Networks on this site, for free. You can go check out the WickedFire forum, also for free. There”s a bunch of great information there also. Just learn as much as you can before you pull your credit card out.

Wealthy Affiliate – Possibly the ONLY Help You’ll Ever Need to Make Money Online

If you’ve read many of the post on this site, you’ll see that anything I recommend, I do so from experience. I actually use the product or service, that includes actually spending my money.

For affiliate marketing training, I recommended Affiliate Classroom here before. I’m not saying now that I don’t think that AC does have a lot to offer, but I have found something much, much better. However, if you’re a complete beginner, or still fairly new and unexperienced, I’m sure Affiliate Classroom can offer you very much in your affiliate learning. I just know that the Wealthy Affiliate site would be a site that you’d want to stay with as long as you’re an affiliate.

After a couple of months or so with Affiliate Classroom, I personally thought maybe my time and money could be better spent elsewhere. Although I’ve not fell for a lot of the scams, I have spent quite a bit I wish I hadn’t. Affiliate Classroom wasn’t a big regret.

The owner of AC has a couple of other sites, AffSphere.com and PPCclassroom.com, that I’m still a member of. AffSphere.com is an article directory and it’s totally free. It’s a very good site also. PPCclassroom.com is a paid site for PPC training, obviously. I’ve learned a massive amount at PPCclassroom.com, and I’m sure I haven’t touched the surface yet. There’s also a very good user forum.

After becoming a paid member at WealthyAffiliate.com a few short hours ago, and having a look around the site, including the forum, and reading the huge amount of testimonials, I think I can honestly say that WA will be my only paid training/support/mentoring type membership from here on out. That includes PPC (Pay Per Click training and support.

Does that mean that I’ll go to WA and keep a blind eye to everything else ? Of course not. My theory is still that there’s plenty of information available for free on the Internet to get started in Affiliate Marketing, BUT, if you want to cut down on the headaches and get to making money in the shortest time possible, go to where the most knowledge and experience is…in one place.

I’ve known of the Wealthy Affiliate site since probably shortly after they came online. I considered joining several times, but finally took the leap of faith today, and I’m already glad I did. I look at it this way; if you’re serious about making money online, you can get hundreds, if not thousands of dollars per month from WA in the form of training material, videos, tools, recommendations, mentoring, whatever you could possibly want or need. Their SIte Rubix Website building software alone is a huge value, especially if you know nothing about building a Website. Of course you don’t HAVE TO have a website to make money online, but any marketer worth their weight will tell you it’s just about necessary…at least it’s easier and opens up more possibilities.

Sorry for the long post, but I really feel good about WA. I guess I’m really excited because after nearly a year of marketing online, I’ve finally started making some steady money. I’m currently laid off from my regular ‘day job’, and my goal is to not have to go back when I’m called…usually around the first of April. :) I think with the resources available at the Wealthy Affiliate site I can push forward enough to start making a full-time living from the Internet.

If you want to give WA a try, you can sign up for a month, grap anything and everything you can in the form of information and software tools, and then cancel…no questions asked. I doubt you will though, from all the testimonials, even those from people making hundreds of dollars a day, talk about staying on to be Wealthy Affiliate members for life.

I think that’s the ultimate recommendation.
