Yahoo – Yahoo is (Finally) Offering Some Great Deals
Posted by: Jeff in Miscellaneous, tags: yahoo, yahoo coupons, yahoo personals, yahoo search marketing, yahoo small business solutions, yahoo web hostingYou know, I’ve always had a special fondness in my heart for Yahoo. I first got online back in 1989, and in (commercial) Internet years, that was the ‘early years’. Of course I live in rural Indiana so I wasn’t exactly on the cutting edge with the first surfers, but I got Internet access almost as soon as I could reasonably obtain it. Even then I had to pay Netcomm an hourly rate, and there was no toll-free number at that point! It was very expensive also. I even had to use some clunky browser they had, times have changed, thank God.
Anyway, Yahoo has been around forever, at least in Internet years. They’re one of the only names that have been there, non-stop, since the early days. Others have come and gone, especially after the ‘dot com’ craze had it’s bubble busted back in 2002.
Even though I’ve always liked Yahoo, I’ve never had their hosting, never had a Yahoo Store, never really had anything Yahoo other than a free Yahoo (Geocities) Webpage, email address and I’ve used their instant messaging for years. Mainly I haven’t used their paid services because Yahoo always seemed to charge a little more, for a little less. Their web hosting seemed expensive, but still seemed to lack a little in features. I’m sure it was probably good as far as from an operating and support view point, but I always thought they could do better on pricing.
I’m not really sure when it happened, but Yahoo has gotten really competitive in their pricing on everything they offer. At least everything that I know a little about.
So in an effort to promote ‘an old friend’, I thought I would add a few links to some of Yahoo’s very good products/services. I’ve always known that Yahoo offered quality products and services and now I’ll be able to look at them seriously when it’s time to add, or upgrade my online functionality.
Oh, I have also had a Yahoo Search Marketing (Pay Per Click) account for quite a while, and I can attest to the great service and cost effectiveness of using Yahoo for your paid advertising. Personally, I think Yahoo probably has the best user interface of the ‘big three’ in the PPC realm. In fairness, I haven’t used Microsoft’s AdCenter in a long time, so I could be pleasantly surprised the next time I logon there. I sure hope so.
Enjoy the ‘new’(as far as I’m concerned) Yahoo and their fantastic services that are finally priced accordingly. There’s never been a question of Yahoo’s abilities, and now they offer their top-notch performance at impressive prices. Go take advantage with some of the coupons I’ve listed in this post and on the sidebar of this site.
